Ukraine is a neo colonial battle
Most of the globe is not autonomous, or free and does not experience human rights.
In truth, much of the world remain colonial outposts that have varied degrees of autonomy and are subject to the ebb and flow of power structures that originate from former colonial powers.
Example, as much as we want to believe that Saudi Arabia is independent or the United Arab Emirates is sovereign, they are former British colonies and are firmly under the Imperial American Empire. This was evident when former Pres. Trump told the global media that he told the King of Saudi Arabia that if the USA removed its protection, the King would be toppled within a month.
Why is it important to know this?
Ukraine that is constantly in the global news is no different. Ukraine was historically an extension of Russia. Ukraine has nothing of value except for its strategic location along the borders of Russia. To prove the point, the President of Ukraine was an actual clown and comedian on television. Ukraine has never added any value to the world and Ukraine by itself figuratively, has no value.
What is happening with Ukraine, is simply a few global powers flexing muscles, like dogs barking to frighten the other. The talk of democracy, human rights, liberty and freedom as uttered by Prime Minister Boris Johnson is fanciful political grandstanding and rubbish. The hypocrisy of the Ukraine situation is important because it can easily be compared to Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan etc.
If democracy, human rights, liberty and freedom as uttered by Prime Minister Boris Johnson is vital, why does the British and Americans sell arms to those who reduced Yemen etc. to rubble? Does the Yemeni and other people not have a right to freedom or democracy or human rights or must they remain an outpost who submit to the Imperial American Empire?
It is ironic that NATO and some Western powers expect anyone to take them serious. NATO, the Americans, British and Australians etc. were all defeated by the Taliban. These foreign armies ran like scared kids, this included the special forces and Marines. The images were on live television. We all saw the foreign troops fleeing whilst the Taliban arrived wearing flip-flops on Toyota bakkies.
Whilst I fully oppose Russian colonialism, what is vital, is perspective. The British, Americans and NATO leaders must stop the deception and grandstanding, it’s embarrassing. All the propaganda cannot hide the truth that the “West” were defeated in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Libya.
The West cannot fight Russia or China when they were defeated by the Taliban a few months ago.
I am simply suggesting that even the politics of hypocrisy must have limits.
