About CMC

The Cape Muslim Congress is a not for profit community based organization that is primarily concerned with the political, economic, social and cultural progress of the Cape Muslims and the marginalized communities in general.The CMC objective is to spearhead the development of a politically influential, socially stable, and economically successful society in Cape Town.The most important purpose of the CMC is to positively influence any political process for the economic, social and cultural progress of the Cape Muslims and the marginalized communities in general.We intend to identify and develop individuals within the communities to enhance the necessary leadership skills in politics, economics, social and cultural development.It is also our intention to co-operate with organizations and social movements that can assist the CMC in achieving its primary objective and purpose. This includes co-operating with those who contribute towards the positive and progressive development of the Western Cape.
