Racism and media hypocrisy

Will Smith hit Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars for mocking his wife’s bald head. Initially Mr. Smith laughed but after sighting his wife discomfort, he marched onto the stage in front of the entire world and had what is referred to by the American sitcom series “The Boondocks” as a “Nigga Moment”.

According to The Boondocks, Season 1, Episode 4, a “Nigga Moment “is a moment when ignorance overwhelms the mind of an otherwise logical Negro male, causing him to act in an illogical, self-destructive manner. “Nigga Moments” are unpredictable and, if they had their own category, they would be the third leading killer of black men behind “Pork Chops and FEMA”.

The incident could have been avoided had Jade Pinkett Smith simply worn a headscarf etc. Ironically, this is also, exactly where the problem originates. Blacks in general and black woman particularly have been so brutalized by centuries of racism that logical decision making is a dreaded subject.

Example, majority black women do not have the hair type that is easily manageable.

Globally, blacks spend billions on fake hair and straightening products to conform to western standards. The black hair industry is based on inherent racism as its survival depends on making black women believe that they must straighten or wear fake hair for social acceptance.

When Chris Rock joked about the baldness of Jade Pinkett Smith, centuries of racist cruelty and the resultant inferiority that goes with that issue was displayed. The woman was humiliated and her husband who initially laughed was left with the illogical conclusion of a “Nigger Moment”

To the erudite observer, two serious historical racist stereo-types were triggered,

Ironically, globally, Muslim woman who choose to cover their hair for whatever reason, are accused of either being fanatics, anti-progressive or sexually oppressed by their husbands or fathers.

In India, Hindus inspired by scheming politicians have gone to court like in France and other European nations to ban the headscarf, whilst other women are inspired to walk naked on the beach.

The Creator of the Heavens and Earth created humans in various shades of color as profuse as the colors of mud on a river bed. Those closes to the Creator are those most beneficial to Creation.

Nobody has a right to discriminate on the bases of ethnicity or race etc. Any religious texts that encourages racism is fake. Racism is an evil quality, yet something so many, so easily embrace.

Those two famous and wealthy black men that caused the disturbance at the Oscars have no idea what they have done. Within an instant, they have fortified white racism with a “Nigga Moment”
