The military coup in Myanmar was expected
The same military Generals that killed and expelled a million Rohingya from Myanmar has now imprisoned Aung Sang Suu Kyi, the disgraced political leader.
The logic was simple.
When the military Generals shared power with Aung Sang Suu Kyi for a short while, she conceded her principals. Freedom, justice, equality and human rights etc. were empty words. Her nationalistic and racist tendencies was clear as she defended the military who killed the Rohingya on television.
Now it is the turn of Aung Sang Suu Kyi
The Generals measured Aung Sang Suu Kyi and her talk of democracy was found to be empty rhetoric. Already her fans on BBC are shouting loudly about human rights and freedom. These are the same people who were silent whilst the Rohingya were burnt alive and women and kids were raped by a godless military regime.
Where are the tears and anguish for the Rohingya? Is it because that they are dark-skin Muslim that killing them is globally acceptable? A million people are denied citizenship and ejected from their homes whilst at the United Nations, leaders talk endlessly about human rights. Where is the justice?
The Myanmar Generals waited like savages. They waited until the world forgot about the Rohingya. When the dust settled on a tortured Rohingya, the General turned on their very own people.
This is how tyranny and evil functions.
Hitler started with Germans of mixed race, then the Gypsy and those with different ideas and who disagreed with Nazi ideology. Then Hitler turn on Poland and Europe. Hitler created and sustained hell on earth and when Hitler was done, 100 million humans lay dead. Our humanity ripped apart.
There is always a warning. The killing of Rohingya was a warning from the Generals of Myanmar. Hell was unleashed, but the world did not listen and the Generals regarded inaction as implied consent.
Already Taiwan has been warned by China, declare independence and you will be obliterated.
The coup in Myanmar is tacitly supported by China. It is an agitation and warning to the West. The drums of war are beating. Pres. Biden has already spoken out against China. Trouble on the horizon.
The appointment of a Chinese national to the South Africa parliament is sending a message. What that message is meant to suggest is a matter that requires serious analysis.
