Donation to ” Help Mekaar Umrah Jamaah”

Councillor Yagyah Adams of the Cape Muslim Congress donated R1000 {a thousand rand} to the “Help Mekaar Umrah Jamaah” at a “Delicious Breakfast” fund raiser held at the Portland’s Masjid Hall in Merrydale Road in Portland’s Mitchells Plain. The event was held on Sunday morning 6^th of October 2013 from 8am until 11am and was attended by almost 500 guests. Cllr Yagyah Adams wishes to challenge all other Councillors serving the Mitchells Plain community to also donate R1000 or more every month from this October month to a religious event, any community function or charity activity in the Mitchells Plain area until the next  election.
